A Spanish Saturday.

This summer is a time for getting together with friends of old it seems. This weekend, it's time to be reunited with two chums with whom I started out in radio with.

There was much to talk about. One friend is just back from living in New York & the other is a financial journalist. There was no shortage of topics of conversation.

Food was also high on the agenda.

Pan Con Tomate - Chargrilled Sourdough Bread with Fresh Tomatoes & Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Croquetas De Bacalao - Salt Cod Croquettes with Brava & Aioli Sauces

Courgette Flowers - In Tempura stuffed with Goat Cheese & drizzled with Honey

Patatas Fritas - Roughly Cut Fried Potatoes with Brava & Aioli Sauces

Queso De Cabra - Grilled Goat Cheese with Honey-Glazed Butternut Squash, Roasted Garlic & Sage with Balsamic Glaze

Perfect potatoes, croquettes, courgettes, sauces - in fact - perfect everything. 

There was no room for anything else except coffee & goodbyes after all of the Spanish feast.
