Brasserie Le Sud Lyon
It's my last day in Lyon & it's raining as I pack my bag for home.
There are a few postcards to send & one final lunch before heading to the airport.
It's time to revisit here: Brasserie Le Sud ..

This is one of the five brasseries created by Paul Bocuse who is an icon around these parts ..

Quite a peacock-esque website don't you think. Anyhow, there's no hiding the fact that this is an extremely successful restaurant enterprise as well as running a cookery school.
A nice secluded corner seat for my lunch on this wet & dreary day. Today, just the one course. Delicious & reminds me that I'll soon be home in London headed for the Underground ..
Pavé de Saumon Rôti à l’Unilatéral Mousseline de Courges & Émulsion Noisette
Roasted Salmon Steak with Squash Mousseline & Hazelnuts
That fish was so succulent &, together with the sweetness of the squash, was a perfect culinary farewell to Lyon.
À la prochaine fois Lyon - Je t'aime.
