Cheese ID Parade

Cheese ID Parade

Does anyone recognise this cheese?

I had a very enjoyable day out to Cambridge today. Many highlights - for example taking the exciting Guided Bus from Huntingdon (AMM rolls eyes and says ‘Boys, for goodness sake.’ ), a very pleasant quick tour of Cambridge itself by a local who knew where he was going and what to see. An unexpected neck massage from the owner of a kebab restaurant - Carlos’s BBQ is highly recommended, and the chance to buy some exciting cheese from the Cheese Stall in the market.

All well and good.

As usual, eyes bigger than my stomach and wallet, and I pointed to a couple of cheeses which looked nice. I was duly served, and I suggested I was also appraised on the names of the cheeses, however … the names of the above … and below …

….. escaped my medium and long term memory.

Which is such a shame because they were wonderful. The first a Gouda-style cheese with a hint of heat and the second one with olives folded into it.

I enjoyed them

I’d probably enjoy them more if I knew what they were called.
