Friends Reunion I - The One Where We Eat & Drink

It's been a social week with friends & it's been wonderful.

I love this place & on this visit the food, drink & service were more exceptional than usual.

As two of us waited for the final compadre to appear &, for a table to be cleared, there were drinks offered. Pol Roger was involved.

Then we were underway for the main event.

One chum asks for advice on which white wine is the driest of a couple she's spotted on the list. Samples received & a choice made: "Both are delicious, let's start with a glass of this one please." ..

Hispi Cabbage (To share)

Pudding menus descend.

"I'm okay, nothing for me." .. (L)

"No, me neither." .. (E)

"I'm full." .. (Me)

"Just say you were going to have one though, what would you pick?" .. (Me)

All three amigos went for the Lemon Posset & Hazelnut Biscuit.

So much was talked about. It's been a while after all.

The most important thing was that we were back together again & that we ate & drank well.
