Catch your breath again because you can also eat & drink here ..
The building, the setting, the stands, all stunning, all fascinating. I visited here twice & on both occasions I could've spent more time wandering along the seemingly endless aisles.
València boasts other excellent markets including ..

Another extraordinary building, an art nouveau affair this time. Within its walls, restaurants, bars, delis (one selling boquerones, smoked sardines & 150 cheeses.) & there are flower stalls.
Then there's here .. the second largest market here. It has more of a neighbourhood feel to it than a touristy one ..

All of the senses were engaged once through the doors of these trio of palaces of gastronomic wonders.
They all provided a wonderful glimpse of a complete love of fresh food in València.
Un amor total por la comida fresca en València.
Cathedrals of the senses indeed.
