A Simple Sunday

I savour a peaceful Sunday. 

A gentle day with something good to eat towards the end of it, hopefully. 

There are some domestic chores to attend to. Did I tell you that I built a vacuum cleaner? Well, I assembled it. There was a screwdriver involved, ergo, I constructed it. Plus, I put up a Carbon Monoxide Detector on a wall with special sticky things. Then there was more Piccalilli to be done. Pickled Onions as well. 

Busy bee. 

The winter sun is out for only the first time this week so I venture forth for a walk. It's very low in the sky & I navigate my way carefully.

There are many thoughts floating around my mind.

It was dark by just after 4 o'clock. The roast et al was out and ready to eat by 6 o'clock.

It's that time of year isn't it when you look out of the window & it feels like it's later than it is.
