A Sunday afternoon on the horizon.

Roast Chicken.

Yes please & it's been a while. Chicken is not cheap (cheep).

There'll be a few treats to come after the initial roast joy, too .. curry, sandwiches .. etc ..

My local butcher only had +2kg birds in his shop & they are too big for my needs.

To a nearby supermarket then where I spy a 'happy' chicken with a ..

I do a little dance, discreetly, before noticing that there are a few people, (buzzards), lurking nearby to see if I'm going to go for this ..

I am.

I did.

Skipped, again discreetly, to the checkout.

Never fails.

There was some packet festive stuffing left from Christmas in the cupboard, too.

Crispy skin & moist chicken. Sage stuffing. New potatoes. Veg. Gravy.

A perfect Sunday roast.
