Belfast Craic - II

And so the Belfast adventure continued apace.

For a very special birthday, a very special meal ..

After a big day of walking (16,000 steps since you enquire) it was time to freshen up & dress up a bit before hopping in a cab for supper.

In the cab ..

Me: **Delving into handbag** "I can't find my phone."

Birthday Girl: "Look again."

Me: "No, it's not here. Must be back at the hotel. Driver, can we go back please?"

BG: "Take everything out of the bag & look again."

Me: "FOUND IT!"

BG: **SIGHS**

Driver: **SIGHS**

We had checked out where this restaurant was earlier in the day because unless you know where it is, you won't know where it is.

It was a most fantastic evening. We opted for the wine-tasting alongside the menu because, well, because it was a unique celebration.

The setting and the service - perfect. Each course and glass revealed in front of your eyes ..

Here's what appeared ..

STRAWBERRY, SORREL, WHITE CHOCOLATE

PEACH, MEADOWSWEET, BLUEBERRY

We 'aaahhhed' and 'ooohhhed' & exclaimed many 'WOWs' throughout the night. 

Having told The Muddlers that it was a special supper, they started the evening with two gratis glasses of fizz & finished our second pudding off with a birthday candle for the birthday girl.

It was the most amazing night of food & wine rounded off by this declaration:
