Fish Counters

I have asked Robert a question which has got him thinking.

Is there such a thing as a pretty fish?

Don't ask me how this conversation began. All will become clear (or not) in the February M&J podcast.

In the meantime .. I love to take pictures of the jewels of the sea, crustaceans, oily fish, flat fish, robust fish & ..

Ugly fish.

The thing is, I guess, is that once the head, scales, gills, tail etc .. have been removed then, well .. easier on the eye.

The French can buy chickens with heads and legs attached to make great stock, soups & gravy. Brilliant.

How that would go down on these shores, heaven only knows.

Anyhow, I digress. This is the most good-looking collection of fish & shellfish I have come across most recently.
