'Good Club' Sandwiches

In our next podcast Robert & I will tell you a little more about our 'Good Club' ..

The thought behind it though is very simple. It's nice to do something kind.

On an evening this week I started thinking about two friends at work. One was coming back from an Italian family holiday. The other was on a fresh broad bean hunt for me in his part of the world.

Both chaps were due in the next day & so I thought why not make some lunch treats for them both.

A gorgeous Rustic Loaf from a local bakery purchased & then a look around the fridge.

For the Italia returnee:

Prosciutto di Parma

Burrata

Avocado

Basil Leaves

Romaine Lettuce

Cherry Tomatoes

For the vegetarian broad bean hunter:

Exactly the same except for the sweet ham

Layer as you wish on some worthy bread. I added some garlic salt to both sandwiches before packing them in greaseproof paper to take to the boys at work.

They were both happy lads I think.
