Solo Dining
I enjoy eating on my own.
Don't get me wrong, I'd always prefer companionship over a meal & a glass, but, there are occasions when it's a solitary repast.
For company it might be a newspaper, a mag, a book or possibly, as a last resort, the phone.
Breakfast is always the best.
My latest was taken in Nottingham on a short stopover. I returned to a favourite haunt in my old home town: https://delilahfinefoods.co.uk
Scrambled Eggs. Creamy, buttery, warm.
Gone within 15 minutes, that's pretty quick for a slow eater like me but I was hungry.
The menu here is fab I think: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0055/1033/2504/files/Delilah_Full_Menu_20.pdf?v=1646730397
I babbled thanks for the food & service as I paid up. I wanted to spend time in their food shop but the train home was calling.
Next time.
