Hogmanay II
Lunch on New Year's Eve Eve was at The Kinneuchar Inn in Kilconquhar, Fife.
A festive present from my compadres & a restaurant which is winning great plaudits:

The other main event chosen turned up on the Specials Board.
Toulouse Sausages with Lentils.
Also catching an eye on that same board was this starter of Cold Roast Beef on Dripping Toast with Horseradish & Watercress
"That was so delicious, I could have had that as a main .."
Hand on heart I know that a starter will generally get the better of me for what is to come, but, I can't help myself.
Crab Bisque & Cheese Straws.
Sweet & packed with the delicious brown meat. The crisp cheese bedmates - perfect.
For another of the starters, (we all tasted a wee bit of everything), there was Smoked Sea Trout, Beetroot, Horseradish & Rye Bread.
Drinks ..
Gooseberry & Ginger Fizz Cordial
Virgin Mary
Crémant D'Alsace, Sans Souffre, Domaine Klur, France - (Apple, Pear & Biscuit, Biodynamic, No Added Sulphites)
Gran Cerdo, Vino de España, Rioja, Tempranillo - (Young Rioja, Strawberries, Raspberries & Cherries, Organic)
Candlelit tables, a wood burning stove, Christmas garlands & the warmth of folk who want to please with their food, wine & hospitality.
Happy Hogmanay.
