Utter joy

Teamwork.

That's what happened in spades today for the Spaghetti Hoops lunch.

The amazingly helpful & friendly gent who sorts our food & beverages at work shone again - CG.

He offered to toast the bread & butter it plus deliver warmed plates & cutlery

My fellow worker was good to her word & sourced some excellent bread. A Tiger Bloomer with added Sourdough & provided the Heinz Hoops (right on brand there).

I kept my end of the bargain & brought some very good British butter with salt crystals in it.

This is how it happened:

CG: "I have done a sample slice of bread in the toaster & each one will take a minute & a half .. okay? Tastes good."

Me: "Perfect - 1230 works for you?"

CG: "Yes, absolutely."

FW: "I will get the hoops heating in the kitchen at 1225."

CG: "Which plates would you like - white ceramic or paper?"

Me: "Ceramic please & metal cutlery."

FW: "Napkins .. napkins .."

CG: "How much butter on the toasted bread?"

Me: "Slather it on please."

FW: "Ditto."

All was delicious.

Beaming faces.

There was one mishap.

Wasn't me.

Wasn't CG.

Which leaves ..
