Top of the Mops

Mops lined up outside the canteen - half way between the China Radio International office and the dormitory for foreign experts.

I tried to explain once to a Chinese colleague that it looked like a sixties’ episode of Top of the Pops but that was probably a cultural conversatoin too far.
