Ever since I was a nipper, I have been fascinated & beguiled by airports.

This morning is no different.

I'm up before the autumnal birdies. 

Destination? Heathrow Terminal 3 & Lyon-bound.

There's still the thrill of seeing all of the planes & the runway lights.

Oh & pre-boarding there's the prospect of a ...

Bounty.

I'm careful though because I know there'll be breakfast on board. So .. 

A piece of toast.

Scrambled Egg.

Sausage.

Sauce.

My tum has no idea why it has been woken up at this godforsaken hour to be employed.

It grumbles.

Once ensconced in my seat, I'm a happy lass & excited to be travelling again.

Two hours plus after my first breakfast & it's time for the second.

Charcuterie time.

Bit of cheese as well.

Warm bread roll & butter.

Yoghurt.

I'm in.

You see, my thought process is that I won't be eating out later this day, so ..

Next thing, we've landed in Lyon & I'm heading into town via the Rhônexpress which is a tram-train service linking Lyon–Saint-Exupéry Airport with the city. It takes about half an hour. Then four stops on the Metro & I am in my home for the next few days.

After a 0330 start it was an early night.

French adventures await.
