The birthday treats have continued. Lucky lady I am.

A friend of mine who is also a June baby recently introduced me to Lino Stores - six restaurants with some delis attached across London.

It was an early supper for the two of us at their Greek Street restaurant. When booking a table my chum had asked for the following .. 

'A quiet space & not near any children please ..' 

Grown-ups’ time & 100% approval from me.

Lino Stores accommodated. Bless them. I understand completely, that in a small space, customers' requests are not always possible.

True to form I had perused the menu beforehand & had already started making a shortlist of options.

Sitting pretty at the top of that list was this beauty ..

Tagliolini al Tartufo e Parmigiano - 30-Egg Yolk Tagliolini, Black Truffle, Butter, Parmigiano Reggiano

I mean, I'd ask it out on a date if I could, wouldn't you.

I was telling RJ about how much I enjoyed the food here (top service, too), & how we should definitely go next time he's down here. The next thing I know, there's a voucher for Lina Stores sent to me from RJ For my birthday. Thank you RJ :-)

By the way, that buttery, cheesy, eggy, earthy truffle pasta exceeded all my expectations & I didn't even have to take it to the pictures ..
