Here, There & Everywhere
Over the last three weeks I've travelled around 1,000 miles by train, tube & taxi around south west England for work.
The first stop was Poole where, with friends, we decided to make a weekend of it.
We got lucky with the weather. Really lucky. Blue sky, autumn sun & 18 degrees if you please.
Lunch outside? In November? Albeit shielded a wee bit?
Absolutely.
A random choice for lunch as we walked by Poole Harbour & here we were: https://www.st-tropez-lounge.uk/about
Two starters times three - here's the path we travelled ..
Wye Valley Smoked Balik Salmon with horseradish cream and caperberries (arrived under a cloche, when lifted, actual smoke appeared!)
Glorious. All of it. We could have sat there all afternoon. Nearly did.
My work duties were done & dusted & now there was Sunday lunch to look forward to before the journey home tomorrow.
Still ahead in the next two weeks - Portsmouth, Bristol & Exeter.
I should have had tour t-shirts made.
