It was sparked by a weekend morning stroll to gather bits & pieces to eat.

I walked past one of the local cafés which provides a hearty breakfast, (these are plentiful in the manor, thankfully,). My nose picked up eggs being fried ..

That got me thinking ..

What are those heavenly cooking aromas that make us turn the head, double back on our journey & change our plans?

Frying Eggs

Ditto Bacon

Roast Beef

Roast Chicken

Roast Potatoes

Garlic & Onions in a hot pan

Oh ..

The Christmas Cake
