Summer Feast & Magic Tricks
A summer trip to Kent for an outside feast with family & friends.
I made salads & hummus to take along:

There was also an additional Greek Salad I put together, a vibrant Green Salad made by the cousin, RM & a tangy Potato Salad with Salad Cream & Yoghurt.
The uncle, MM, was in charge of the barbecue, an inbuilt brick affair. Smart. Chicken & pork cuts to choose from.
The forecast had been checked & we knew that there were showers coming. MM had a Plan B. He had set a table outside with parasols to cover the five of us.
A table had also been laid indoors just in case the downpours got too heavy.
In the end, we weathered the weather.
For pudding, a magnificent cheese board with sumptuous strawberries.
Best friend, JS, had made a cheesecake but left it at the other half's home because it had burnt.
"I'm not au fait in baking in his oven." ..
Instead she brought a Lemon Tart (M&S).
As the afternoon drew to a close, I asked MM the inevitable question:
Me: "Uncle M, do the disappearing 50p magic trick." ..
MM: "You've seen it a hundred times before." ..
Me: **SadFace**
MM: "Oh, alright." ..
**MMDoesTheTrick**
Me: "Again." ..
10 times more in fact because I'm still trying to work out how he does it.
Before the day was out I'd persuaded him to get the playing cards out to do the: "Pick a card, any card act." ..
It was magic.
