It was the last day of the season. Man City had already sealed the deal winning the Premier League for the fifth time.

They’re not my team though: https://minhallandjones.com/blog/2020/6/26/ooh-to-be-a-gooner

I was meeting a couple of friends for lunch here: https://www.thecilicia.com

There was a chance to stroll beforehand except the weather had other plans. Like heavy showers.

"Let's retreat." .. https://www.the-woodman.com

A quick snifter before heading for a bus to the lunch venue.

A feast for three. On the table accompanied by mountains of warm bread:

Broad Beans served with fresh herbs, capsicum

Cilician Tabbouleh diced mixed vegetables

Hummus chickpea puree, tahini, olive oil

Garlic Tiger Prawns cooked with wine, tomato, olive oil, vegetables

Grilled Halloumi charcoal grilled goats cheese

Avocado Tricolor avocado, tomato, mozzarella

Spiced Salami grilled spicy garlic salami with salad

The afternoon swiftly turned into early evening & it was agreed that we head to see some footy here: http://thefamousroyaloak.co.uk

Only 2 of us enjoy watching the beautiful game which led to HP & me explaining about the Champions League to AB. He looked interested. Well, for the first 15 minutes anyway.

Oh, and Arsenal beat Brighton 2-0.
