Quick Summery Pasta

It's a Friday. Something quick & simple on the hob.

In the salad drawer there are courgettes, cute & tiny tomatoes, an onion, half an orange pepper, & more garlic than you can point a crusher at.

Some chopping & slicing gets underway.

Slower things to cook go into an oiled frying pan.

Some tomato puree (water or wine into the pot to loosen if needed)

Pasta into a simmering pan of water

Fresh torn basil leaves on top when everything is ready to be together

Bed by 10pm
