T'is The Season III

I have lost part of my kitchen.

It is overrun with jars of things that have been pickled, mulled & baked over the last few insane lockdown months.

There are two Christmas Cakes both of which will be marzipanned & iced next week - blog to follow - neither task has been attempted here before.

**F R E T S**

In the meantime there's the weekly ritual of feeding the festive beasts with brandy.

A few wee holes have been made with a skewer in both cakes.

Their home for the time being is greaseproof paper plus foil in Tupperware containers. Like presents, I unwrap them carefully, (something which drives my family mad at Christmas). Then it's a couple of teaspoons of the hard stuff onto each beauty.

Cover them back up again.

Blow them a kiss.
